Congratulations

Nivedita –daughter of Rtn. Vinod & R/ann Aparna was selected as process trainer for metlife  dental insurance USA ,to migrate the process to India.

Nivedita has done M.Sc. in Health  Science & has worked at Jahangir Hospital.

She is the youngest to be selected & she will be teaching her colleagues in her office in Delhi after returning from USA.

Congratulations!

Rtn. Ganpat Patil was recognised for his social work and was felicitated by Ambarnath Times on 17th February at the hands of MLA Hon.Kisan Kathore.
He received this distinguished honor for his dedication for social work and his contribution to the development of Ambarnath.

Congradulations Mangal Sarda!
R/ann Mangal Sarda has published a book in Brail Script on Aumkar & Yoga-'Yogsparsha'.
The book was published on the occasion of Braille Day on 4th Jan 2007 by Rotary Club of Pune East in Pune.
The Book was released at the hands of visually impaired prominant personality of Pune Director of Eye Hospital Rtn. Niranjan Pandya.
This book is the first of its kind inthe world!
Mangal we admire vision and concern for the blind.
150 blind students were given demonstration by her and 150 copies of 'Yogsparsha' were distributed.

News from the RCT's PMMIW school Ambarnath
* Admission process for junior KG for the next academic year is started .Scrutinising of forms issued was done on 13th & 14 th Feb07.
Ten Rotarians helped the staff of the school in this progress.

*Parent's Day for KG students was celebrated on Satuarday 24th Feb 07, at suryodaya hall,Ambarnath

PP.Dr.Mayuresh Warke was a part of the team of doctors to represent the District 3140 for Polio Corrective Surgery Camps in the last months.

The First camp was at Gajraula Dist.J.P.Nagar Rotary District 3100 in U.P from 27th to 30th November 2006.
This camp was organized by the National Polio Plus Committe.About 44 operations were carried out at the camp.
The second camp was at Chandausi Moradabad Rotary District 3100 from 3rd to 7th January 2007.
This camp was jointly organized by the Rotary Club Deonar,Rotary Club of Coventry and Rotary Club of Chandausi.
117 operations were carried out in this camp.


Rtn.Dr.Mayuresh Warke was felicitated at the recently concluded Dare to Dream District Conference 2007 at the Hotel Leela on the 13th January 2007 at the hands of DG.Dr.Bharat Pandya and the RI representative,Rtn. Mark Maloney for his contribution to the Polio Corrective Surgery.
Rtn Mayuresh receiived two certificates of merit from the India National Polio Plus Committe for his contribution.
We wish you very best for the mission to eradicate the polio.

The first fire side meeting was held at RCC on Friday ,the 8th December 2006.
Ten Rotarians attended the meeting
Rtn.PP.Hemant Gogteled the discussion.
He specially prepared very informative booklet on the club service.
He mentioned "Club Service is the Soul of the Rotary".
He gave refernce of number of Rotary books.Hemant conducted the meeting in professional style.
The meeting was full of vital Rotary information.
There was very responsive participation and livelyquestion -answer session.Members suggested to have similar fire side meetings at regular intervals.
Rtn.PP.Hemant was abtly supported by Rtn PP Ganpat & Ramesh.
