itle: Reading, Literary Sensiblity and our Times.

Reading is an essential ingredient in our thought-formation. However, reading as a habit appears to be dying. So, this is an attempt to instill among the people the healthy habit of reading. Reading would open up an individual's sensiblity and shape his/her personality and outlook for the liking of the others. Literature becomes a suitable medium to achieve this lilterary sensiblity. By reading variety of literatures, an individual will not only develop interesting ideas but also have a fair understanding of the time-passed,present and to some extent future. Reading literature would also enable an individual to have a holistic and humanistic approach towards  life, even though in the professional arena he concentrates on narrow technical issues. Contrary to the other forms of entertainment like Television and Cinema, reading offers active entertainment as the reader has to create the conditions of actualization.
